For a PDF or PowerPoint presentation, identify the section or idea that should drive the video. A long deck may cover a company overview, technical specifications and several products. A short video works better as a focused explanation of one of those topics than as an attempt to compress them all.

For a webpage reference, choose a publicly accessible page containing the relevant material. Explain whether you want a product introduction, a visual summary or a scene inspired by the page. A URL supplies context; your directions still define the output you want.

Choose one source route

China AI accepts one document or one webpage in a request, not both together. Document and webpage references cannot be combined with first or last frames. If your priority is a fixed opening composition, use the frame-based workflow instead.

Wan 3.0 document-to-video is best approached as a creative adaptation. After generation, check names, numbers, product details and any visible text against the source. Add exact claims and final brand typography during editing when accuracy is essential.

Animate Images with First and Last Frame Control

Wan 3.0 image-to-video can begin with a product photo, an environment image or a composed opening shot. Describe the movement you want to introduce instead of restating every object already visible in the image.

Add an end frame when the final composition matters. This is useful for a reveal that lands on a product close-up or a camera movement that finishes at a chosen view. Select a start and end that can connect through a coherent action; large changes in subject or layout require the model to invent more of the transition.

Reference images serve a different role: they guide the subject or appearance without occupying the dedicated first/last-frame slots. Plan Your Clip Length and Reference Inputs

Without a reference video, select an output length from 2 to 30 seconds. With reference video, its duration counts toward the same 30-second allowance as the generated clip.

Reference videos themselves are limited to 15 seconds in total across up to five files. Adding more video files does not increase that total. Reference audio also has a combined 15-second input limit.

Select the reference segment that contributes the movement or visual information you actually need. A shorter, focused reference leaves more room for the new output. If the intended video must run for the full 30 seconds, start from text, images or another supported non-video source instead.

For settings, choose 9:16 for a vertical video, 16:9 for a landscape presentation or another available ratio to match the destination. Explore the scene at 480p or 720p, then use 1080p for a higher-resolution version. Decide whether generated audio supports the piece or whether you will add sound separately.

Keep Wan 2.6 in consideration for an existing short-video workflow that already meets your needs. Choose Wan 3.0 when source documents, webpages, first/last-frame control or a longer output are central to the task.

Choose Wan 3.0 when the material you want to work from is a document or webpage. Choose Seedance 2.5 when your project needs a larger collection of image, video or audio references. Both offer output up to 1080p on China AI, so resolution alone does not separate them.

Wan 3.0 Limitations and Workarounds

A 30-second maximum does not always mean 30 seconds of output. Reference-video input uses part of the shared allowance. Trim the reference or shorten the new clip before submitting.

Source material still needs editorial direction. A long document can contain competing messages. Select the idea to communicate and describe its visual progression instead of relying on the upload alone.

Audio and on-screen text need review. Alibaba identifies audio texture and text-rendering accuracy as areas still being improved. Listen to the result and inspect written details; replace essential titles, figures or branding in your editor when necessary.

1080p is the highest output option here. Choose a 4K-capable model if your final delivery requires native 4K. Do not assume a longer or more detailed prompt changes the resolution setting.
